Rheonics SRD Inline Density & Viscosity Meter
Rheonics SRD Inline Density & Viscosity Meter
The Rheonics SRD measures density, viscosity and temperature at the same time from a single inline probe. One compact instrument does the work of a density meter, a viscometer and a temperature transmitter, so there is less hardware to install, calibrate and maintain.
Like the SRV, the SRD is built around a balanced torsional resonator. Density is read from the shift in the resonator’s frequency and viscosity from how strongly the fluid damps it. Readings update every second, are temperature compensated, and are not affected by flow variations or the way the sensor is mounted.
Why it suits food, dairy and beverage processing
- Track concentration, solids and specific gravity in real time instead of by grab sample
- Detect product/water and product/product interfaces to cut losses at changeover and during CIP
- 3-A and EHEDG certified hygienic variants, including flush-mount Tri-Clamp probes
- Hermetically sealed all-metal probe with no elastomers in contact with product
