Rheonics DVM HPHT Density Viscosity Module

Rheonics DVM HPHT Density Viscosity Module

The Rheonics DVM is a compact density and viscosity module for extreme pressure and temperature. It measures density, viscosity and temperature together on a sample of less than 0.7 ml, at conditions up to 2,000 bar and 200 °C.

The DVM uses Rheonics’ patented balanced resonator, so readings stay consistent regardless of how it is mounted, with active vibration suppression and stable operation in high-EMI environments. It covers its full measuring range without hardware or software changes, and can be paired with a Rheonics thermal control module for tightly controlled lab work.

Where it fits

  • Reservoir fluid PVT studies and enhanced oil recovery research
  • High-pressure, high-temperature laboratory analysis
  • Drilling and field environments with severe conditions
  • Integration into OEM test equipment and analysers
